Dexter is my Siberian Husky and endurance teammate, with our journey centred around dryland sledding and canicross. We train and race across a range of distances, including long-format endurance events such as the 50 km UltraDog in 2025, where consistency, resilience, and trust matter more than raw speed. Off the trail, Dexter is a true gentleman - calm, affectionate, and quietly observant. But the moment the harness comes out, or the start chute appears, everything changes. Focus locks in, excitement takes over, and he becomes an absolute chute monster, ready to run and work with purpose. Knowing that Dexter loves what he was born to do, we place just as much focus on his recovery as we do on training, so he can keep doing it as often and as happily as possible.
