Honey is an enthusiastic and joyful athlete with an unstoppable drive to work and compete. Before her osteosarcoma diagnosis, she actively competed in dog sports, thriving on challenge and movement. In April, she lost a leg to cancer — not her spirit. After amputation, Honey returned to sport with confidence, determination, and her trademark enthusiasm, proving that ability is not defined by limb count. I’m an assistance dog trainer, and even through that professional lens, Honey continues to redefine resilience. Her journey shows that dogs can compete, adapt, and love life fully, both before and after diagnosis.
